32 teams from all over the World will compete in 64 matches at 9 host cities in a sporting spectacular which will be viewed by 40 billion people worldwide. These 32 countries will split into 8 groups of 4 where the winner and runner-up of each group will proceed to the second round, which will take place on a knock out basis. The winners of each game will proceed to the quarterfinals and ultimately the finals, should they maintain their winning form. The final takes place in Johannesburg on Sunday 11th July 2010.
